Obafemi Martins netted twice for the Super Eagles but Juan Carlos Cacho matched the mercurial Newcastle star with a brace of his own to ensure the two teams ended all square.

Martins opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, rifling the ball into the far corner of Guillermo Ochoa’s goal. He doubled the lead in the 52nd minute to seemingly put Nigeria on the road to victory.
