Day 2 of the Women’s World Cup 2007, proved to be far more competitive than opening day’s 11-0 thrashing of Argentina by Germany.

In fact, all 3 matches today ended in a draw, meaning everyone has their work cut out in order to advance to the next round.

Nigeria 1, Sweden 1
Japan 2, England 2
USA 2, N. Korea 2

    Very exciting games today, and it’s anybody’s tournament so far. Hoping for more of the same in the group stage.

    I think Nigerian Female football is picking pace and can favourably contest the chapionship at this stage. I dole my hat for them and expect more of those fantastic moves as they exhibited against Swedenwith every passing encounter.

    Well, let’s see if they can pick-up a win against N.Korea in their upcoming match — that would be helpful before facing the U.S.
