OPERATION-PROTECT-YOUR-EKITI-VOTE # 33 : Ekiti Re-Run Elections – Petition Summary Table for Ido-Osi & Ijero LGA Elections of April 25/May 5 // and Overall Revised Results
June 3, 2009
Dear All:
Yesterday June 2, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the AC Gubernatorial Candidate in Ekiti State, submitted his Petition in connection with the Re-Run (or Supplementary) Elections of April 25/May 5, 2009. This was to the Election Tribunal set up to hear it.
The Table below outlines the arithmetic that indicates that in the petition, he is claiming that he won the elections as follows:
Kayode Fayemi / AC - 103, 880 [not INEC's 107,017]
Segun Oni / PDP - 93, 104 [not INEC's 111,140]
after deducting corruption-induced,concocted and fake and/or uncollated votes of six wards: Ifaki I, Ifaki II, Orin/Ora and Usi (of Ido-Osi Local Government) and Ipoti Ward A and Ipoti Ward B (of Ijero Local Government.) Thus he – and not Segun Oni – should have been declared the Winner and Governor-Elect.
The petition is comprehensive and thorough; the candidate and his party are quite confident that they will prevail, and that the People’s Mandate will in due course be restored.
There you have it. Enjoy the exposition below.
