Barack Obama's Rise in 8 Video Minutes — Before Palin (and McCain), there were Clinton, Edwards, and even Biden

Barack Obama’s Rise in 8 Video Minutes: Before Palin (and McCain), there was Clinton, Edwards, and even Biden

I often sit down a think to myself, ”Wow, there will never be a presidential election year as exciting as that which we’ve experienced this year”.  From the nail-biting Democratic Primaries in which Hilary Clinton was initially expected to win in a square-off against Barack Obama and John Edwards, to the current twists and turns in the Presidential campaigning between Democratic nomimee, Barack Obama, and Republican Party nominee, John McCain — there is certainly much drama all-around.

So Much Drama, Drama, Drama

Drama such as …

  • … Reverend Wright’s inflammatory word’s taken out of context which seemed to curse America.
  • … a crashing US economy, which has many worried and eagerly paying attention to the candidate’s plans to rescue the economy from recession and put money back in the pockets of US citizens.
  • … wars that are being fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, that have many questioning the true motivations of the Bush Administration.
  • … John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate on the Republican Party’ Presidential Campaign ticket.

All of these scenes of the past year have made politics in America something to watch, and something that is of interest to the entire world.

But, how did we get to this point?

I found this video months ago, around the time that it became clear that Barack Obama, and not Clinton, would become the nominee of the Democratic Party.  And now, Obama’s former oponent, Joe Biden, is now his running mate.

The Democratic Race, and the Rise of Barack Obama, in 8 minutes … Very interesting video.

I’d love to hear your opinions in the comments below — Who do you honestly feel will win the Presidency?

Watch and Enjoy:
