Dear Mr. Mbanaso:

Thank you very much for throwing more light on the issue of Prof. Iwu's qualification to run
Nigeria
's INEC. Emeka Ngige ought to know the constitutional provisions, but you know lawyers sometimes, not having much to back their position, limit the truth hoping that it is not caught. It is all about winning a case at all costs. Thanks again for the insightful information.

Sincerely,

Oliver Udemba

Re: Legalities of ....Dual Citizenship

Hi Mr Mbanaso,

I read your reaction to the write up by Ngige (SAN) on the above subject. Kudos for clearing this issue. I am sure that some Nigerians in Diaspora may also want to know what the legal position is as regards their eligibility to run for the highest office in Nigeria (the Presidency). A follow up by you in this regard will also make an interesting reading.

Regards.

My Dear Brother,
I would like to thank you so much for the
Clarification on the above named subject pertaining to
Nigeria citizens.

I was completely shocked when I first read the initial
report on this matter. My first thought was that this
could not be entirely true because I know some members
of the house of representative that holds dual
nationality.

I praise you for your diligence on this matter.

Regards,

Clive

Nice one!!

ombanaso@yahoo.com

Your interpretations of the legal codes sounded so sweet to the itching of my tympanic ossicles and membrane. But wait a second..! Beyond the shadow, what interests are you protecting cum representing? You all have together issued us bounced checks drawn on an account  with insufficient funds ,but the bank of justice can never go such bankrupt. You might fool All the people some of the time, but you can not fool all the people all the time. The fact that our voices can not be heard now does not in any way mean that they can not be heard later. Remember that "Ex nihilo nihil fit"

Dual Citizenship and Matters Arising

Tue, 18 Dec 2007 11:40:30 -0500

I must say a big thank you for clarifying using the 1999 constitution, the issue of dual citizenship and holding elected political office in Nigeria. This also gave me a big sigh of relief, as i have been worried over that issue lately. As a patriotic Nigerian I want to in the future, return home and contribute my quota in government.
God bless you and have a wonderful xmass season.

Maurice Iwu- The case for the Diasporans

ombanaso@yahoo.com

Good day Obi Mbanaso,

Thanks for your beautiful write-up which appear on the Abuja Inquirer of today 12/18/07 on this issue of dual citizenship and ineligibility of the Diasporans to hold public positions in Nigeria. It was really educating and full of information especially for some of us that have not have the time to read through the said constitution for a long time now.

I think the whole intent of Ngige and his likes is just to bar every Diasporas from coming home to take any job. I see that they are some how threatened by the Diasporans presence because they would be pressured to do things right and of course you know that they don’t want that. They want to remain rich at the expense of the poor and helpless majority by their continuous embezzlement of public fund and at the same time funding thugs that gives them false security.

I am very glad with your write up and I am forwarding it to as many that I know in the US and other parts of the world.

Continue to speak out the truth. It does not hurt but heals and empowers people.

Thanks for job well done and God bless.

Truly,
